Spectrum Vaccines
Spectrum will resume its vaccine distribution on February 23rd. Patients with appointments that were previously delayed are being contacted by text, email, and phone call to advise them of their new appointment time. Read more about Spectrums reopening and appointment adjustments.
Catholic Community Service Tax Assistance
On Mondays and Tuesdays, Catholic Community Services will be offering Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) from 9:00 am-5:00 pm at the Prescott Valley Public Library. Services are by appointment only. Please call 928-460-9895 to make an appointment and for more information.
Kiwanis Club Coming to Prescott Valley
Kiwanis Club will be coming to Prescott Valley. Keep an eye out for more information in the future on how to become involved and join as part of the Prescott Valley Kiwanis Club in the future.
Disc Golf
Prescott Valley is looking to install a disc golf course in town and is exploring locations that would offer this fun activity with great views. Prescott Valley Police Department Drug Unit
Prescott Valley Town Council recently gave direction to the Prescott Valley Police Department to create a drug unit whose sole purpose is to target drug dealers. With a goal to remove as many drug dealers as possible, this new unit will work closely with other agencies as they begin investigations.
PV Water Resources
Many residents have expressed concern that the Town of Prescott Valley doesn’t really understand the amount of water available as the town grows. Mayor Palguta wants to remind residents that the Town of Prescott Valley is always well-informed on the amount of water resources available and work closely with hydrologists who have made extensive study on the water in the area. Mayor Palguta would like to encourage residents to learn more by checking out the information they have available at www.pvaz.net/240/water-resources.
COVID-19 update
There have been many questions regarding the updates on COVID-19 stats and how to get the vaccine. Residents are encouraged to visit the Yavapai County website on COVID at www.yavapai.us/chs or call 928-442-5103.
