Gifts with Grace.

Ms. Hickey, a retired Air Force Lt .Colonel, shared the many facets of Union Station and its place in the community. Union Station hosts many ministries, the Calvary Christian volleyball and basketball teams, the Huntsman basketball league and several monthly meetings.

She also had a focused discussion on the annual Community Summer Program (CSP) and Downtown Bellefontaine 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament. Ms. Wilkinson told the group about a new tenant ministry at Union, Gifts with Grace. Gifts with Grace empowers women through faith, encouragement, compassion, and education, as they grow personally and spiritually to overcome trauma. The women spend time with volunteers in bible study, education events and creating the gifts that support the ministry.

She also shared with the group that the court system has approved Gifts with Grace as one of the resources women may choose for hours needed to satisfy court requirements.

On November 3rd, Gifts with Grace will open its doors to women referred by local agencies or churches.
