President Katelyne Wolff with the help of daughter, Madison opened the meeting with our

song and pledge.

Rod Matsel was the winner of the 50/50 drawing, $10.00.

Wes Henson contributed to the Good News Fund, saying that he was, "Happy to be here!" Rod Matsel contributed to the Good News Fund because he was happy to be a winner!

Katelyne announced today as our Membership Drive Day. Each member is challenged to recruit a new member by June 1st. Katelyne's goal is for our club to be innovative and grow. One of our biggest accomplishments each year is planning Corn Day. We want to keep an active growing membership that will be able to continue the tradition. We currently have 72 members. Our average age is 59.

Dr. Clint Taylor talked about how he is proud that our club does a lot for our Community. Interesting programs are a goal to keep attendance high and encourage people to join the club.

Jim Davis recalled being one of our speakers and deciding to join the club afterwards. He enjoyed the greeters that we once had as you walked into the meeting. Matt Lamont reminded

us that there are nearby towns without Kiwanis clubs. There may be potential members from other clubs that would enjoy being invited to a meeting.

Brian Watts, an engineer for Continental Tire, will be our speaker next week.

Katelyne ended the meeting with the quote, "If you want something, go get it!"

Anyone interested in attending a Kiwanis meeting is welcome to join us on Thursday at Noon in the basement of the Farm Bureau building.
