President Frank Frerich lead the meeting and the Pledge of Allegiance, Valerie Stoj...

lead “God bless America” and Glen Fineman gave the invocation.  12 members were in attendance.

Ralph Peppard: Glen Fineman shared that Ralph has been admitted to Immanuel Hospital. Members expressed their good wishes for Ralph’s full and speedy recovery.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing: Saturday, December 7. A sign-up sheet was circulated.

Salvation Army Nightwatch Food Trucks: Frank Frerich informed us that our club volunteered to staff the trucks on December 3 for South and on January 6 and February 10 for the Center route.

Clothes for Kids: Barbara St.John confirmed the date for the purchase of $125 of clothes for 12 children for Wednesday, November 20 at the 72nd Street WalMart.

Key Leader Conference: Joann Feller recruited five students from Benson High School to be sponsored by our club.

Card for Dr. Vickie Londer: Valerie Stoj presented a thank you card to Dr. Londer for her many years of leading the Westside High School Key Club for members to sign.

Drawing: Vern Waldren drew the 4 of Diamonds.

Happy Bucks: In the absence of Sheriff Ralph Peppard president Frank Frerich gave the extra time to our speaker.

Today’s Speaker: Frank Frerich introduced Dan Heidelberg from the West Omaha Kiwanis Club, who had been in law enforcement for more than 27 years. Dan was volunteered to present the required annual training for Kiwanians who interact with youth, called Youth Protection Guidelines Training. Members need to remember what we learned when interacting with youth.
