President Frank Frerich lead the meeting, the Pledge and “God bless America” and Barbara StJohn gave the...

invocation. 16 members were in attendance!


Salvation Army Night Watch food distribution: Two volunteers were still needed.


Benson High Key Club Report: Joann Feller reported on activities of the members and is exited about their participation.


Drawing: Linda Jones removed the 2 of Diamonds, the lowest card of the deck, instead of the Ace of Clubs, the highest.


Happy Bucks: Sheriff Ralph Peppard added many happy bucks to his budget. We will need a “substitute sheriff” next week as he will be traveling.

Today’s Speaker: Vern Waldren introduced Cindy Brison from the Douglas/Sarpy County Extension Service, who spoke excitedly about the need for healthy nutrition and clean surroundings especially in areas where food is prepared, at home or in restaurants, schools and grocery stores. She also spoke about proper food storage, such as in refrigerators. A very timely reminder at the beginning of the year.
