Olive Garden Restaurant ,75th and Dodge, Wednesday, October... 16, 2019
 
President Frank Frerich led the meeting and the Pledge of Allegiance and Ralph led the song “America the Beautiful.”  Bob gave the invocation. 25 members were present.
 
October 23 meeting:  Dan Heidelberg from the west Omaha Kiwanis Club will present the required annual training about member’s conduct when being involved with youth.
 
Board Meeting:  Monday, October 21 at Vernon Waldren’s office.
 
Flag placement:  Veterans Day Monday November 11,  7 am and 5 pm in Loveland neighborhoods. Contact Dennis Cronin if you can help.

Clothes for Kids:  Wednesday, November 20.  More information next week
 
October 30:  program is Art of story telling,
 
Deb Carlson, from Nebraska Methodist College will be a future speaker
 
Joann Feller:  reported  there are two Key Club members from Benson and 2 from Westside who want to to go to Key Leader training. Money for these members and a possible fifth person will be put in the budget.  A possible project is reading to patients at QLI.

Today’s Speaker:  Valerie talked about a book Ahead of Their Times (Omaha history) written by Matt Holland.
Then members were divided into two groups and played Cash Cab which is a trivia game.  What a fun contest!!!
