Bruce Moulton: Members were happy to see Bruce Moulton attend after his time in the Hospital.

Flags: Members placed and picked up about 108 flags in the Loveland neighborhood on Saturday, May 18, Armed Forces Day. The next placement is scheduled for Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Dennis Cronin is still looking for additional volunteers for one of our two largest fundraisers.

Special Olympics, Friday, May 24, 5:30 pm, today! Ralph Peppard is still looking for a few additional volunteers, bribing them with a beer at the Irvingron VFW afterwards.

Golf Outing Friday, May 31 at Tregaron: No report was given. Teri Layton and others are working hard on this, one of our two major fundraisers.

Completed Interclub: Frank Frerich reported that he, Rod and Linda Jones and John Seigel attended the Greater Omaha Kiwanis luncheon at the German-American Society Monday.

Next week’s speaker: Ralph Peppard will introduce David A. Hubbard, Director of the Conciliation Court and Mediation Services of the Fourth Judicial District of the District Court of Nebraska.

Today’s speaker: Ralph Peppard introduced Dr. David Hibler of the Benson Plant Rescue, who spoke about the Non-Profit at 7224 Maple Street, which started collecting and reviving unwanted plants, which evolved into community gardens and a great service to the community.
