gave the invocation.

Valerie welcomed two interclubs, one from West Omaha Golden K and one from Bellevue Offutt. Ralph Peppard introduced his guest, David Hubbard, Douglas County Court of Conciliation.

Slate of officers 2019/20. Valerie Stoj presented the third reading of the officers and directors for the term beginning October 21. It was moved and seconded and voted unanimously to approve these members:

President: Frank Frerich

President Elect: Ralph Peppard

Treasurer: Vern Waldren

Treasurer “Pro Tem”: John Seigel

Secretary: Glen Fineman

Board members 2019/21: Linda Jones, Barbara St.John

Past President: Valerie Stoj

Bruce Moulton: Bruce was to be released from Methodist Hospital Rehab today, May 15, at 1 pm and taken to his home by his daughter. He expressed to a visitor that he had improved considerably and that he was still planning to travel to Paris (France) to visit his son, daughter-in-law and newly adopted grandson in early June.

Interclub May 20: Greater Omaha Kiwanis, German-American Society, 3717 S. 120th Street, lower level “Ratskeller”, lead by Frank Frerich.

Camp OK: The location for the student’s pick up has been changed to the far SE end of the Ramada Inn (formerly Holiday Inn) on the North side of Grover Street east of 72nd Street.

Flag Day June 18: Dennis Cronin still needed a couple of helpers with flag placement and pick-up

All other announcements were identical to the previous week.

Today’s Speaker: Ralph Peppard introduced Denise Napp, a Diplomat with the US State Department, who shared about her experiences serving in US Consulates in countries like Afghanistan, South Sudan and Costa Rica, as well as in in Washington, DC.
