First reading of proposed slate of officers for 2019/20: President Frank Frerich, President Elect Ralph Peppard, Vice President open, Secretary Glen Fineman, Treasurer Vern Waldren, Jr. Treasurer John Seigel, board members 2 years Linda Jones and Barbara St.John.

Interclub: Thursday, May 2, (today) noon Southwest Omaha Kiwanis, Garden Café, Rockbrook shopping center. If you have not signed up you can still join.

Interclub: Monday, May 20, noon. Greater Omaha Kiwanis, German American Society Ratskeller, 3717 S. 120th Street, south lower entrance.

Flag Placements: Dennis Cronin is looking for members to assist with the placement of flags in the Loveland area, one of our two biggest fund raisers, on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 18, 7 am, pickup 6pm, followed by Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Golf Tournament: Teri Layton has signed up 9 teams and 13 hole sponsors ($200 each). Members are encouraged to find more players and sponsors for the May 31 event. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Camp OK, June 2 : The Westgate students attending are Marin Davis and Ella Tobaben. Glen Fineman will escort them to the bus at Firemen’s Union building. The students will be invited to one of our meetings after their return from the one-week camp on June 12 or 19.

All Play Handicap Baseball: Our club is again sponsoring a team with a contribution of $500. Our club also committed to have volunteers assist with their worthwhile effort on Saturdays beginning Saturday, May 11. A separate signup information will be sent to members shortly.

Happy Bucks: Sheriff Ralph Peppard collected very few of these today.

Today’s Speaker: Attorney Ralph Peppard, honoring “Law Day”, gave an informative presentation about the constitution and the function of various courts.
