Olive Garden Restaurant, 75th and Dodge, Wednesday, November 21, 2018

President Valerie Stoj lead the pledge and patriotic song, Glen Fineman gave the invocation. 12 members were present.

Guest: John Seigel introduced his grandson Teddy Drewes, visiting from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs where he is a sophomore. John mentioned hat Teddy has “jumped out of perfectly good airplanes”.

Bell Ringing: Valerie Stoj handed out nicely printed lists of volunteers for the event at Wheatfields, 103rd and Pacific on Saturday, December 1.

Clothes for Kids: Barbara St. John gave an update on the purchase of clothes for 12 students of 5 families on Tuesday, December 4 at Walmart on 72nd Street.

Night Watch, October 4: Dennis Cronin and Frank Frerich are scheduled to serve food with the Salvation Army truck to homeless and other needy people.

Invocation List: David Huelsmann reported that members signed up for invocations through July 3, 2019 and only 6 spots remain open for the rest of the year. Sign up quickly for this black Friday opportunity. 

Drawing: Linda Jones AGAIN was the winner, removing the King of Clubs – getting close to the Ace.

Happy Bucks: Substitute Sheriff Dennis Cronin drew dollars out of the pockets of happy members.

Today’s Speaker: Frank Frerich introduced Mike Kitchen from the Good Feet Store, informing members of the benefits of having their feet inspected and measured to “improve their posture and possible reduction of certain pains”.
