The meeting was opened with a prayer from Greg. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Kip led the business discussion:
Dale updated that the Completely Kids America 250 Year Celebration is set for July 10, from 3 to
5 PM. He also reported that he has four confirmed of the five needed volunteers. Please contact
Dale if you can help.
Dennis provided a Flag Program update:
Received funding through June 13 is approximately $7,600.
The next date for setting out flags is July 4.
Dennis stated he needs each of us to consider volunteering for July 4. There are two regular
volunteers who cannot help which will include the loss of one delivery vehicle. So if you
can help please contact Dennis.
Steve passed out a flyer advertising a July 16 Golf Event sponsored by the SW Omaha Kiwanis
Club. Please consider supporting this event.
He also stated that the tour of the Nebraska Veterans Vietnam Memorial is tentatively set for
June 23 or 25. He should have the final date set this week.
Lori Cronin showed a quilt she is making for Frank Frerich. She will get final signatures of
members on the quilt today.
The guest speaker was Tim Sully the Development Director for the Society of St Vincent Depaul.
