The meeting was opened with a prayer from Kip. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

The 50/50 drawing was held and there was no winner.

Kip led the business discussion:
Frank is still out sick and receiving treatments. We should continue to keep Frank in our
prayers and best wishes.

Greg reminded all that Sacred Heart Zoo trip is scheduled for May 15. The gathering area
is by the Zoo Plaza, main entrance ticketing, between 9:30 and 10:00.
Joann reported that the Completely Kids America 250 Year Celebration budget share for the local clubs
is $3,000. With the commitments received to date, our Club Board will consider an
additional donation for the Celebration.
A Flag Program update from Dennis:
Received payments through May 10 total $5,760 - less $360 expenses.
The first date for setting out flags is May 16 - Armed Forces Day staring at 7 AM. Meeting
place for volunteers is St Andrews Church. Dennis has marked flag locations with fresh
paint.

Rod reported that the Events Day for the Special Olympics is scheduled for May 29 at 6 PM.
The guest speaker was Alexis Boulos of Union Soccer Omaha.
The next Club Meeting is May 18, at Legends with the scheduled guest speaker John Vela from the
Nebraska Veterans Vietnam Memorial.
