The meeting was opened with a prayer from Frank. This was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Attendance - 19 members, which included Joann and Frank, both working through medical issues.
The 50/50 drawing was held and there was no winner.

Flag Program update:
Recent received donations have the net status at $8,205.
Several commented that the July 4 date was successful although the morning set up had a lot
of rain to contend with.
The numbers of flags is now at 177.
The District Convention is scheduled for August 7 and 8. Joann Feller is asking for help preparing
bags for the Convention. Wants three volunteers on August 6 to meet at her home.
Joann also reported that the next District Council meeting is scheduled for September 1 at Joann's home
and on Zoom.
Barb is preparing to start the Backpack program. She provides backpacks for Completely Kids and
Sacred Heart. Typically 30 backpacks, with school supplies, for each location.
The guest speaker was Maggie Peterson, the Outreach Manager, with the Omaha Public Library.
The next meeting is July 27 with the guest speaker Bill Williams with Patriotic Productions.
