Division 20 breakfast meeting: Valerie, Glen Fineman and Bruce Moulton attended and reported:

Bowling for Eliminate Project: This Friday, August 3. Meal 6:30pm to 7:30 $15, bowling three rounds 7:30pm $25 including shoes at The Mark in Elkhorn. At this time three members have signed up.

Membership Sale: Any new members joining before September 30, 2018 will  not have to pay the NE/IA district dues of $45. This may encourage new memberships

100 years of NE/IA Kiwanis: Celebrations will be scheduled during the 2019/2020 fiscal year, including establishing the “Raymond Crossman District Fellowship”. We received a handout about Raymond Crossman, who was responsible for establishing the “Six objects of Kiwanis” while he was chairman of the International Committee on Laws and Regulations. The handout also explained “The purpose of the Crossman Fellowship”.

Happy Bucks: Sheriff Ralph Peppard collected many happy bucks including several for last Sunday’s outdoor gathering at the Seigel residence.

Today’s Speaker: Andrew Kroeger, sports commentator of KMTV, gave a lot of stats and comments about the Football Team of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, the leadership of coach Frost an his team of assistant coaches and the upcoming season. And all this without notes!
