Layton started the Pledge of Allegiance and Frank Frerich gave the invocation.

Guests: Frank Frerich introduced his spouse Ida Jean Horn and Connie Peppard, wife of Ralph, joined us later.

Summer Outing at Seigels: 16 members and spouses have indicated they will attend the gathering this Sunday, July 29, beginning at about 4 pm. Pot luck dinner about 5 pm. Beef Sloppy Joe and beverages provided. Please bring a side dish to share.

Bowling for Eliminate Prenatal Tetanus Div. 19/20 at The Mark, Elkhorn, Friday, August 3: A sign-up sheet was circulated. Meal $15, Bowling includes shoes $25.

Flags: Dennis Cronin reported that thanks to Frank Frerich’s follow-up all but one of 108 participants have paid, adding to our scholarship fund balance. Next placement Labor Day, September 3.

Golf Outing: Teri Layton reported that the final numbers will be provided shortly and “that they look good”. Next year’s date is Friday, May 31. (Not Memorial Day weekend)

Wishing Spin: Bruce Moulton reported that he and Rod Jones collected $148 in coins and “some candy”.

Drawing: Barbara St.John again drew a card, 8 Diamonds. She will try until she gets it right.

Happy Bucks: As usual Sheriff Ralph Peppard received many of these.

Today’s Speakers: Sarah Baker Hansen and Mathew Hansen from the OWH promoted their book “The other half”, about treasures in communities around Nebraska. They just happened to have a few for sale.
