Special Olympics: Ralph Peppard still needs a lot of volunteers on Friday, May 18, 5:30 to about 7 pm at Northwest High School. He will buy beer afterwards at the WFW nearby.

Flags: First Placement Saturday, May 19, Armed Forces Day, followed by Memorial Day, May 28. Please contact Dennis Cronin if you can assist. So far $960 has been received including $210 in donations.

Div. 19/20 Bowling event for Eliminate Project: Please sign up with Cindy for the August 3 event.

Our golf outing: Friday, June 15, at Tiberon.

All Play Baseball: A volunteer sign-up link was forwarded to members.

Drawing: Ralph Peppard drew the King of Clubs, reducing the deck by another card.

Upcoming primary election: Douglas County Election Commission Officer Valerie Stoj reminded us to vote, but refused to tell us how. 😊

Happy Bucks: Sheriff Ralph Peppard collected many bucks. Medical updates were shared about Bruce Moulton’ wife and about Barbara St.John. We need to keep both families in our thoughts.

Today’s Program: Mary Jean Wepfen shared information about the now two-year-old Omaha Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, which offers 135 beds to patients needing long term physical rehabilitation. Patients have come from many areas of Nebraska and many neighboring states. Videos shared very positive results of their services to patients being served, mostly after accidents. They work closely with other hospitals.
