Today’s Speaker: Vern Waldren introduced Rosey Higgs, the very energetic representative from the NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION OF THE MIDLANDS, which is a non-profit assisting other area non-profits in their planning, fund raising, management and other areas. We learned about the impact of non-profits, which includes many hospitals, as 1 in 11 Nebraskans are employed by a non-profit and they provide 9.1% of the areas GDP.
