Olive Garden Restaurant, 75th and Dodge Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
Do not come to Olive Garden on August 9. We will join Bill... Morrison at the Papillion Manner for lunch. Details and location were e-mailed by Jozef Schmidtke.
President Dennis Cronin led the meeting, Joe Schmidtke lead the patriotic song and Cindy Cone gave the invocation.
Guests: Dennis welcomed an interclub from Greater Omaha and Lt. Governor District 19, Joanne.
Board Meeting: Tuesday, August 8 at 6:15 at the OWH Distribution Center 118th and Stonegate Drive.
Installation of new officers and dinner: Thursday, September 28 at Champions Golf Club. Reserve the date.
Bowling Competition: One team from our club participated in the Division 19/20 Bowling fundraiser. Rod Jones bowled a 214, but Dennis Cronin stated, that he was keeping his day job for now.
Wishing Spin: Rod Jones and Bruce Moulton reported that the annual renewal of advertisers resulted in filling almost all 28 slots for business cards. Some of the contributions will be added to our welfare fund, plus the monthly collection of coins.
All Play Handicapped Baseball: The Fall seasons starts on Saturday, August 12, and volunteers are welcome to help. Joe Schmidtke mentioned that “our sponsored team remains undefeated”. Explanation: There are no winners or losers in these friendly competitions. All games end in a tie!
Annual Summer outing at Seigels: Sunday, August 13, beginning at 4 pm with pot luck about 6 pm. Hamburgers and Brats will be provided. BYOB. Please let John know that you and your spouse will come to 16116 Chicago Street. For those who want to swim: BYO Suit!  😊
Drawing: Dave Huelsmann removed the 3 of Diamonds, leaving $52 in the pot.

Today’s Speaker: Sport Reporter Tom Shatel arrived after our meal and spoke with knowledge and enthusiasm about the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, football team. He answered many questions from the members and left promptly at 1 pm to make a 2 pm event with the team at 2 pm. He predicted a winning season.
