President Dennis Cronin lead the meeting, Joe Schmidtke stared the patriotic song and... Sarah Ross gave the invocation on her birthday.
 
Golf Outing: Friday, June 2. Please assemble foursomes and sponsor holes.
 
Camp OK: Rod Jones will select two students from Westside Elementary to participate.
 
Wish'n Spin: Bruce Moulton and Rod Jones collected $100.29 plus a few buttons for our welfare fund.
 
Ronald McDonald Food: Barbara St.John circulated a sign-up sheet for April 1.
 
Happy Bucks: Sheriff Ralph Peppard, after not collecting happy bucks for two weeks, enlarged the club’s welfare fund by collecting many happy bucks.
 
Today’s speaker: Joe Schmidtke introduced Cynthia Kohll-Persky, Senior Living Adviso,r and Chris Cummings, who gave information how they can assist with in-home health and daily maintenance of older people and how they can assist in selecting the best suitable assisted living or long term care facility. Since all our members are young at heart, few thought they would soon need any of these worthwhile services. Smile
 
Next week’s speaker: Gregg Youell, Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA), will speak about long time planning for the greater Omaha / Council Bluffs metropolitan area.
