President Dennis Cronin lead the meeting, Rod Jones lead the patriotic song and... Jack Jackson gave the invocation.
 
Fundraiser instead of pancake day contribution and Sarpy tax sale participation: Vern Waldren has several club members and spouses to participate as “straw buyers” of delinquent property tax certificates for an investor. The $100 paid for each participant will go to our club’s Welfare Fund. Non Participating members are encouraged to make a voluntary (non mandatory)  contribution to the Welfare Fund of at least $60. All Sarpy workers and donors will be entered into a drawing of $100 for one lucky winner.
 
Division 20 monthly meeting: Egg and I, March 1, 7 am.
 
Club board meeting: March 14, 6:15 pm at the Omaha World-Herald West distribution center.
 
Interclub to Omaha East Club: Bruce Moulton, Rod Jones, Joe Schmidtke and Ralph Peppard participated in their evening meeting on February 20. Two new members were installed then.
 
Interclub to West Omaha Club: Scheduled for Thursday, February 23, at noon at the Rockbrook Garden Café with Bruce Moulton, John Seigel and Cindy Cone.
 
Interclub to Greater Omaha Club: Scheduled for Monday, March 6, at noon at the German-American Society Ratskeller: Bruce Moulton, John Seigel and Sarah Ross. Please join us!
 
New Program on March 22: Gregg Youell, Director Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA).
 
The 8 of Spade was removed from the deck of cards, leaving about $92 for someone else to win.
 
Happy Bucks and Fines: Ralph Peppard is exceeding his budgets considerably, considering the many happy members.
 
Today’s Program: Rod Jones and Vern Waldren presented detailed suggestions on how to increase our membership and Vern lead us through many of the good aspects of our club’s website, created by David Huelsmann. Some discussion followed. We members must be engaged in growing our club.
