Kiwanis Bring Up Grades

Bring Up Grades (BUG) is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range, and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next.

Key Club - for high school students

245,000 high school leaders from 24 countries unite every day to provide service in their homes, schools, and communities, and complete more than 12 million hours of service. Key Clubbers work to help eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa, stop premature birth, and battle for the rights of children in their communities.

What is a Kiwanian?

Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? AU baseball leaders among speakers to Opelika Kiwanis - Opelika Auburn News

By: Special to the News | Opelika Auburn News Published: February 22, 2012 Updated: February 22, 2012 - 2:28 PM Auburn University head baseball coach John Pawlowski recently spoke to the members of the Kiwanis Club of Opelika at a regular meeting at Saugahatchee Country Club. Pawlowski gave an update on the 2012 team and talked about new equpiment changes that will affect the game. Pawlowski was assisted by Scott Duvall, director of baseball operations, and assistant coach Ty Megahee. Club treasurer Dr. Bob Huskey arranged the program. The club also recently held a Spouse's Day at a regular meeting at Saugahatchee Country Club. A majority of the members' spouses attended and were recognized. Dr. David Hall was the guest, speaking about the value of comparision shopping. Club secretary Charles Whatley arranged the program, introduced the speaker and presented the Kiwanis bell.
