Rotary clubs, Kiwanis finalize plans for Seafood Festival - The News-Press

For the fourth consecutive year, the island’s two Rotary clubs and the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island are working together to produce the Marco Island Seafood Festival, the Island’s single largest community event.The dates are Saturday, March 24, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, March 25, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Veterans Community Park in the center of Marco Island.With more than 10,000 visitors asking for an expanded format, event organizers have extended festival hours on both weekend days.To add to the festival fun, the Landsharks, sponsored by Physicians Regional Healthcare System, will headline from 7-9 p.m. March 24. The show band is renowned for covering Jimmy Buffet tunes and in generating audience participation.Other featured entertainers on the Seminole Casino Stage include: Saturday – The Del Prados, GladezMen, Gema Pearl featuring Lee Brovitz, Jim Long, and the Landsharks.
