AP fileBROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Kiwanis Club will host its annual baby shower to benefit the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital on Feb. 21.The shower will begin at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 201 N. Main St., in Brooklyn. Lunch will be provided. Byron Myer from C.S. Mott Children's Hospital will be the guest speaker and will talk about the new children's facility. Attendees are asked to bring the following items to donate to the hospital: Scrapbooking supplies, word search and crossword puzzle books, activity and coloring books, markers, toddler toys, baby rattles, teething toys, video games (up to teen rating), board games and calculators. Gift cards from Meijer, Target, JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores, Michaels and Toys 'R' Us are also needed, and restaurant coupons are appreciated.
