What is a Kiwanian?

Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. Kiwanis Club of New London names recipients of Lifetime of Community Service Award - TheDay.com

New London— The Kiwanis Club of New London selected Steve and Jeanne Sigel as the 2012 recipients of the club’s Lifetime of Community Service Award. A dinner in their honor will be held at the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Center on Feb. 26 at 5 p.m., with entertainment by the academy’s Glee Club. The cost is $50 per person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit PACE: Partners, Arts, Community & Education. To reserve a seat, mail a check to Kiwanis Club of New London, PO Box 333, New London, CT 06320.
