Muscle cars, modern marvels and classics from a bygone era will be on show at the annual Kiwanis Club Car Show to be held Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Marco Healthcare Center grounds.The show runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and features food and music.Trophies are awarded in various classes. For the ladies, there’s a perennial favorite, the $6-and-under table selling all sorts of trinkets and bric-a-brac.Kiwanis member John DeRosa started this fundraiser in 2005.Since then, it has become one of the club’s favorites. This effort goes to support and fund the scholarship award program every year, as well as other children and community efforts.Cars are entered by the various independent owners and several of the local car clubs.For more information, call DeRosa at 272-0816.
