Omro Kiwanis hosts chili supper Monday - The Oshkosh Northwestern
It’s that time of year again to enjoy chili or chicken soup, a beverage and ice cream and at the same time help a local Kiwanis in its mission to help the children of the community and the world.The Kiwanis Club of Omro will be holding its annual chili supper to raise funds to continue its mission of helping children everywhere enjoy a better life. The date is Jan 30.The menu includes chili with or without noodles, chicken soup, beverages and ice cream and will be served all you can eat style. There will also be pies for sale by the piece or whole pie.The club will also be running the concession stand for the basketball game between Omro and rival Winneconne set to tip-off at 5:45 p.m. Serving of the chili and soup will go from 5 until 8 p.m., or until they run out.Tickets are $5.50 in advance, $6 at the door for adults; ages 8-12 are $4 and $4.50. Tickets available at the door, or from any Omro Kiwanis member.Come out and enjoy some great soup and chili, hang with your friends, and even watch what should be a great basketball game.
