What is a Kiwanian?

Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. The Anderson Golden K Kiwanis Club will meet from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jan. 31 in the fellowship hall of the Holy Trinity Church at 209 Broad St. in Anderson. The speaker will be Cindy Alewine, CEO/president of the S.C. Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrive early, as all meetings begin with a cup of coffee and a social period from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Bring a friend to share in the fellowship and learn more about Kiwanis.
