Sunflower Kiwanis ClubSunflower Kiwanis Club will meet at 6:45 a.m. for breakfast in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital. President Trish Kreutzer will conduct a short business session. Final plans will be made for the Meadowlark K-Kids to entertain the CLASS LTD Aktion Club with karaoke at 1 p.m.Program will be a message by Lt. Gov. John Shields, Iola. Mirza NobellesMirza Nobelles will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the Corner Bistro. Mary Lou Williams will be hostess. Rotary ClubPittsburg Rotary Club will meet at noon in dePaul Hall, Via Christi Hospital.Program will be presented by Craig VanWey, Southeast Kansas regional project manager for the Business Development Division, Kansas Department of Commerce. He will discuss state programs and services available to small and start-up businesses.Shawn Naccarato will give the invocation, and Jack Overman will serve as song leader. Richard Oler will have introductions, and sergeant at arms will be Jeff Elliott. Lions ClubPittsburg Lions Club will meet at 6 p.m. in the Sheridan Room, Via Christi Hospital. Bill Gray will preside.There will an orientation meeting and installation of new officers. School skateElementary schools from Arma, Girard, Weir and McCune will have a school skate from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lowe’s Skateway. Music/dance nightMusic and dance night will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 3003 N. Joplin.Area musicians provide music for listening and dancing, Admission is $1, and refreshments are potluck finger foods. The center provides coffee and punch. Anyone needing additional information may call the center at 231-9773 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Chapter CP, PEOChapter CP, PEO, will meet at 10 a.m. at the home of Marsha Maceli. Hostesses will be Dorothy  Riggs, Kristen Maceli and Joyce Cumiskey.A brunch will be served, followed by the regular meeting. Joan Farrell will report on the Kansas Cottey Scholarship, and Nancy Bishop will review the PEO history for Founders Day. Chapter AQ, PEOChapter AQ, PEO, will meet at the home of Kristi Bitner. Co-hostesses will be Marilyn Peterson, Ami Van Becelaere and Joyce Draper.Kim Scripsick will give the program celebrating Founders Day. Scottish RiteFORT SCOTT — Coffee and doughnuts will be served at 8 a.m. every Tuesday at the Scottish Rite Center, 110 S. Main, Fort Scott.There will be no set agenda or predetermined topic, simply conversation among friends. Everyone is welcome to attend,  and need not be Scottish Rite members or Masons.  Men attending are welcome to bring their wives or friends.
